Gerald David Emery passed away on December 04, 2008. He was 72 years old. He was a decorated veteran of Korea and Vietnam, before returning to civilian life to work for Shasta County until he retired.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Phyllis, his brother Denny, and his children David, Kathy, Karen, and Douglas. He was the proud grandfather of eight and somewhat bemused great grandfather of fourteen.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 23, 2008, at 12:45 at the Northern California Veterans Cemetery.
