Daughter of John and Elizabeth (Jones) Watson. Wife of Anthony Winston.

Her father, John Watson was Sheriff of Prince Edward Co., Virginia til about 1804 when he moved his family to Wilson Co., Tennessee. He made his will on 2 Oct 1814 - " I John Watson of the county of Wilson & state of Tennessee, being low and weak in body "......

- Item. I lend unto my daughter, Sally Ann, wife of Anthony Winston, one negro girl slave named Lucy now in the possession of her husband Anthony Winston during the term of her natural life, and after the death of said daughter Sally Ann, I give and bequeath the said negro Lucy with her increase to my two (grandchildren) William and Nancy Jones Winston, to them and their heirs forever. I also give my daughter Sally Ann, wife of Anthony Winston, Nanny, who is now in the possession of Anthony Winston.
