Father of Wanda J. (Cash) Ledford Nayfa born August 7, 1915 and Buford Sanders Cash born February 11, 1917. Widow, Josephine "Josie" (Fowler) Cash moved to Harrison, Arkansas where she worked for at a hotel ran by cousin Martha Durand "Durie" (Fowler Cornett and her husband Eli. About 1929, the family moved to Joplin, Missouri where they still were in 1937. By 1940, she was in Oklahoma City where she met and married John Simmonson. They moved to Fowler, California where she died March 11, 1972.

St. Joe, December 9, Abner Cash, a young man living in Richland township, 10 miles from here, met death Tuesday when the horse he was riding ran away through the timber. He was struck by a protruding branch and almost instantly killed. Deceased was a son of Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Cash, of Pindall, Arkansas and is survived by his wife and two children.
