SOUTHWELL, GERALD (JER) Of Jackson, passed away Sunday, April 27, 2003, aged 51 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Russell and Eva. He is survived by his wife, Frances; three children, Jeffrey (Jen) of Illinois, Edith Ann (Jeromie) of Indiana, Jake of Florida; one granddaughter, Megan of Indiana; three brothers and two sisters, Alva (Betty) Southwell, Russell (Brenda) Southwell Jr., Jack (Debby) Southwell, Cindy Lehocz, Wendy (Rick) Lowden; mother-in- law, Beatrice Burrows; several nieces and nephews; and three close friends, Tom Renfer, Thomas Carpenter and Tim Adams. Mr. Southwell was a U.S. Marine Vietnam veteran. He loved his music and before taking ill was a bass player and enjoyed playing for family and friends. He was an extremely kind man to everyone, and will be sadly missed by all. Services will be held at the funeral home Thursday, 1:00 p.m., Jack Southwell officiating. Burial Veteran's Section at Mount Evergreen Cemetery.
