HIGHAM, JOHN J. 'JACK', 84 of Warwick a retired tool maker and jewelry designer died Thursday, November 20, 2008 at home after an illness. He was the husband of the late Gloria A. (Lindia) Higham and a son of the late John F. and Mary E. (Ross) Higham.
Mr. Higham was employed by E.A. Adams, Bulova Watch, and Swarovski American Ltd. A WWII Navy veteran he served on the Pilotfish submarine and was active in the US Submarine Veterans of WWII.
He was the beloved father of Pamela A. George, Deborah J. Sacharko and the late M. Kevin Higham; grandfather of Christina and Mary George, Michael, Ben and Malia Sacharko, Julie, Nick and Natalie Higham; brother of Fred A., F. Joseph, and Earl E. Higham, Bernice McNeil, and the late Mabel C. Martin. He was the companion of Dorothy Girouard.
