Bertha Lee Clark, 73, of Inverness, FL, died Friday, December 12, 2008, at Citrus Memorial hospital.
She was born in January 3, 1935, in Rochelle, FL, to David Clark and Ruth Clark Ivey. She came here 60 years ago from Rochelle, FL.
She is survived by: four sons, David Parker of St. Petersburg, FL, Tony Clark, Gregory Clark, both of Inverness, FL, and Eddie Thompson Jr. of Gainesville, FL; two daughters, Phyllis Clark of Neptune, NJ, and Dorothy Clark of Inverness, FL; one brother, Willie Clark of Ocala, FL; four sisters, Everlena Hunter of Neptune, NJ, Rachel Whaley, Shirley Ivey, both of Inverness, FL, and Daisy Ballard of Phoenix, AZ; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Bertha Lee Clark will be conducted Saturday, December 20, 2008, at 2 p.m. at the Greater Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, 122 Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue, Inverness, FL, Pastor Ed Jones, officiating. Interment will follow in the Pine Hill Cemetery, Inverness, FL. Friends may call at the Greater Mt. Carmel Baptist Church Friday from 6 to 8 p.m.
