"John Franklin Palm, 54, died at his home, 47 Crestmont street. He was a native of Middletown, and son of the late Reuben F. and Emma Catherine (Michael) Palm. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Dover, NJ; the Iron Moulders' Union in this city, the Oakbrook Fire Company and its relief association, Chandler Lodge 227, F.and A.M.; and Redeemer Lutheran Church.
Surviving are his widow, Mary (Lehman) Palm; two children, Frederick Lehman Palm and Franklin John Palm, this city; three brothers and one sister: William H. and Raymond C. Palm, this city; Paul E. Palm, and Sylvia, wife of George Kline, Los Angeles, California"
