"Mrs. Marie I. Byers, 56, of West Austintown, died of a heart ailment Monday evening in Youngstown Osteopathic hospital, following an illness of two months. Mrs. Byers was born August 27, 1906, in Canfield township, a daughter of Eben and Helen Hake Barringer, and lived most of her life in West Austintown. She was a member of the Grace Evangelical U.B. church. Besides her husband, Clyde, to whom she was married in 1929, Mrs. Byers leaves a daughter, Mrs. Nora Seamen of Youngstown; three sons, William of Ohltown, Eben of Austintown and Ronald at home; three brothers, Dewey and Chester of Canfield and Beryl of west Austintown, and seven grandchildren. Funeral services were held Thursday morning at the Lane Austintown Chapel."
