D/O Roy A. & Helen Mae (Cashman) McConnell. Marr. 3/31/1946, Charles S. Jones, who died 2/3/1985; 2nd marr., 2/18/1992, M. Harold Hahn, who died 10/11/2000. Ret. from farming after 15 years; early in life she worked at Puritan Knitting Mills & the Sylvania Plant, both in Altoona. Res. 1903 Pine Swamp Road, Mt. Pleasant Mills. Mem. Cross Roads Mennonite church, Richfield. Surviving are four children: Ronald C. Jones and his wife, Margaret R., of Mifflintown, Pa;, Barbara J. Weaver and her husband, Homer L., of Lake, Mich.; Robert A. Jones and his wife, Bernice, of Orrville, Ohio, and Debra A. Stauffer and her husband, Craig A., of Mount Pleasant Mills, Pa.; four stepchildren and their families; 22 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; four brothers: Roy J. McConnell, Joseph D. McConnell, John M. McConnell and his wife, Ruby, and Clayton P. McConnell, all of Altoona; four sisters: Alice J. Imler of Altoona, Elizabeth S. Eyer of Archibald, Ohio, and Verna J. Dukeman and Shirley Boore, both of Altoona; and several generations of nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Hahn was preceded in death by a sister, Margaret N. Briskey. The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 20, 2008, and from 1 until the 2 p.m. funeral service Sunday, Dec. 21, 2008, at The Cross Roads Mennonite Church, 109 Winey Road, Richfield, Pa., with Bishop Marvin Freed, Pastor Orval Graybill, Pastor Timothy Lauver and Deacon Conrad Brubaker officiating. There will be another service Monday, Dec. 22, 2008, beginning with a viewing at 10 a.m. until the service at 11 a.m. from Providence Mennonite Church, 109 S. Mennonite Road, Collegeville, Pa., with the above officiating. Burial will follow at the adjoining church cemetery at Collegeville.
