Mrs Vinsant Passes Away
Mrs Alice Vinsant, well-known resident of the Somerville area, passed away this morning at 2:00 at her home, Somerville Route 3.
The deceased is survived by two sons, Albert of Somerville; V. H. of Earth, Texas; six grandchildren, Dr. William Stringer Vinsant and James Robert Vinsant of Earth, Texas; A. C. Vinsant, Jr and Miss Ansophie Vinsant of Somerville and Mrs R. E. Desman [Desmond] of Earth, Texas; one sister Mrs Anna Butler of Priceville.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday morning at 11:00 at Shiloh by Rev Fletch Turney and interment will be made there, Drinkard-Howell directing.

Death date on tombstone is Dec 23, 1939, obviously an error, as her obituary was in the Dec 20, 1938 issue of the Decatur Daily, and the Dec 22, 1938 issue of the Hartselle Enquirer.
