COWELL, Ruby E., age 79, a Sedro Woolley resident for the past 35 years, died in Sedro Woolley, Sun., Oct. 16. Born Aug. 25, 1898, in Nebr. and had been a Whatcom Co. resident prior to moving to Sedro Woolley. She was united in marriage to Raymond Cowell in Bellingham in 1925. She is survived by her husband, Raymond; 1 daughter, Maxine M. Carlson of Bellingham; 3 brothers, Alvin Quillen of Bellingham, Cecil, of Cottage Grove, Ore. and Wilbur of Colville, WA; 2 sisters, Gertrude Foster of Longview and Mabel Button of Everson; 12 grandchildren. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wed., Oct. 19, at the LEMLEY CHAPEL, in Sedro Woolley with interment in the Sedro Woolley Union Cemetery.
