FESTUS, Mo. - Mary Catherine McLean, 93, formerly of Chicago, died at 10:55 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2008, at Fountainbleu Nursing Center in Festus.

She was born Feb. 19, 1915, in Litchfield, the daughter of Aloysius J. and Mary E. Todt McLean; they preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death were two siblings, Aloysius J. McLean and Norman McLean.

She was a librarian for Arthur Anderson. She was a graduate of Ursuline Academy. She was of the Catholic faith.

Surviving are three sisters, Diane E. (Richard) Brown of Hillsboro, Mo., Maureen Millburg of Nokomis and Pauline Clower of Northbrook; and nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 21, 2008, at St. Maurice Catholic Church in Morrisonville with Father Chris Comerford officiating. Burial will be in St. Maurice Cemetery in Morrisonville.

Stiehl-Dawson Funeral Home in Nokomis is in charge of arrangements.
