Mrs. Lulu Catherine Bathurst,
a former resident of Birmingham,
died Monday, Jan. 24, 1966
at 10:45 a.m. at Harrisburg
state Hospital where she had
been a guest.
she was born Aug. 1, 1888 at
Petersburg, Huntingdon County,
the daughter of Oliver W.
and Lillie Jamison Stevens. She
was married in 1909 at Spruce
Creek; to Harry Henry Bathurst.
He is deceased.
Surviving are the following
daughters: Mrs. Edward (Gladys)
Dunn, Bellwood; Mrs. Elmer
(Martha) Ellenberger, Grazierville;
Mrs. William (Virginia) Weimann,
Warren, Mich.; Mrs. Albert (Nadine)
Huth, Chicago; also two sisters and
two brothers, Mrs. Weaver (Thelma)
Bohannon, of Babson Park, Fla.;
Mrs. Vadis (Alice) Overfield, Akron,
Ohio, Stewart Stevens, Huntingdon and
Frank B Stevens, Lake Wales, Fla.;
nine grandchildren and ten great
grandchildren.
She was of the Methodist faith.
Funeral service will be held
Friday at Tyrone. Burial will be at
Franklinville.
