Mary Pocahontas Eldridge was born in 1853 at VA. She appeared on the census of 1860 at Buckingham Co., VA; was listed in the US Census in District 1. She married George W. Eldridge circa 1905. She died in 1912. She was buried in 1912 at "Solitude" Cemetery, Buckingham Co., VA; has gravestone which reads: Wife of G. W. Eldridge, Daughter of B. R. Eldridge and Eliza M. Eldridge. I believe this is the marrigae my father mentioned, his cousin George Eldridge married his cousin very late in life, age 50 to 60 years old.
