George Mayberry Cornelius, Sr, of Janesville, died 16 August in Philipsburg Hospital. Born in Glasgow, Pa, son of Abraham and Hannah (Hollen) Cornelius. In 1900 he married Alfretta Dumez who died in 1953. Surviving: 3 sons: Lawrence, Raymond, and George; 13 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and 6 great-great-grandchildren. He was a member of the Janesville Methodist Church. Friends will be received in the Troxell Funeral Home, Glasgow, Pa. (Altoona Mirror, 17 August 1967)
