Mr. Mims was a native and lifelong resident of Hephzibah. He owned and operated Mims Landclearing and Grading. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. He was a former member and past president of Hephzibah Lions Club.
Mr. Mims was preceded in death by his father: William L. Mims and brother: Paul Mims. Funeral services will be Thursday, December 19, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son. Pallbearers will be Nathan Youngblood, Chris Glisson, Chuck Ellis, Reggie Wright, Paul Bennett and Scott Rowe. Interment will follow in Hephzibah City Cemetery.
