MADISON, Ind.--Sept. 2.--John Beckett, an ex-soldier and wealthy citizen, aged sixty-three years, is dead. He leaves a wife and five children--Anna Graham and Lettie Stucky, of Indianapolis, and Mrs. Jay Cook and William and Allen Beckett, of this county.
