Former Resident of County Dies in Huntingdon
Charles Long of Altoona, a former resident of this county, died in Huntingdon Saturday, January 11, 1936 of acute indigestion, aged 67 years. He was born and reared in McAlisterville, a son of the late Frank and Josephine (Dunn) Long, When a young man he removed to Altoona and entered in the employment of the Pennsylvania Railroad. He is survived by the following brothers and sisters J. M. Long, son of James Long and Mrs. Edgar Jamison of McAlisterville; Mrs. Katherine Zeigler of Huntingdon; Mrs. Martha Dunn of Annville; Mrs. Lou Kunkle, Mrs. Margaret Shellenberger, Mrs. William Cox and Frank Long of Altoona and Mrs. Clara Eichman of Northumberland. Funeral Services were held in Lutheran Church. Belleville, last Tuesday afternoon at 2:00 conducted by Rev. Mr. Middlesworth. Burial was made in adjoining cemetery.
