Ruth T. Davis, 91, of Boody died 12:34 a.m. Wednesday (July 5, 2000) in South Baldwin Regional Medical Hospital, Foley, Ala.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday in Dawson & Wikoff West Wood Street Funeral Home with visitation 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday. Burial will be in Fairlawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Davis was born Nov. 23, 1908, in Decatur, the daughter of Harry and Ethelda Austin Zetterlind. She was retired from Eldorado Garment Co. and was a member of Home Extension of Boody. She was an avid bowler and loved fishing with her husband in Wisconsin. Her special love was being a mother and grandmother. She married Charles H. Davis on January 13, 1929, in Clinton. He preceded her in death in 1983.
Surviving are her sons, Charles Eugene Davis and wife Gernette of Foley, Ala.; Rollin Davis and wife Joan of Peyton, Colo.; daughters, Marilyn Nelson and husband Garth of Foley; Frances Jones and husband Robert of Mount Zion; 10 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two brothers.
