Henry Edward McMillion registered for the draft March 1, 1942 and was inducted into the Army June 18, 1943 at Roanoke, Virginia. He joined the Medical Detachment, 320th Infantry Regiment, 35th Infantry Division from the 71st Replacement Battalion October 4, 1944 when the unit was in the vicinity of Bioncourt, France and served as a Aid Man (Combat Medic). PVT Henry E. McMillion was reported missing November 9, 1944 in the vicinity of the Gremecey, France and was later confirmed killed in action on that date.
