Edward Larue, 60, Route 1, passed away at 4:10 this morning, October 25, 1948, in Alice Hyde Hospital, Malone.
Mr. Larue underwent an operation about six weeks ago and had returned home. He re-entered the hospital last Friday.
He was born January 29, 1888, in Norfolk, a son of Edward and Malinda Frego Larue, and married Miss Emma Gilbert, Ogdensburg, February 17, 1917. They have since lived on farms in Norfolk and the Massena area. For a time they resided on South Main Street.
Surviving are his wife; one son, Benjamin Larue, Norfolk; one step-son, Howard Larue, 6 Highland Avenue; seven grandchildren; two brothers, Lewis Larue, Norfolk, and Joseph Larue, Brasher; one sister, Mrs. Minnie Murphy, Northport, LI.
