Frank had a twin who died at birth. He was employed by the American Car and Foundry Company in Berwick as a hammerman in the smith shop. On January 23, 1909 he married Florence DeHaven at Bloomsburg, Columbia County, Pennsylvania. The marriage was performed by Rev. E. B. Bailey. The couple had five children: Earl Kenneth, Opal LeClaire, Alice Elizabeth, Florine Grace, and Donald Franklyn.

Cause of Death: acute pulmonary infarction
