They had four children: Alice Strausbaugh (William) born July 18, 1868, died November 18, 1942, Mary Agnes Small born 1871, died May 24, 1948, Clara L. Small, born October 29, 1873, died July 16, 1901, and Veritie L. Small born May 9, 1876, died July 29, 1892. Lewis, his wife and daughters Clara and Veritie are buried at Conewago Chapel plot A57. Alice and Mary are buried at St. Mary's in McSherrystown.
