KATIE OKLA HILDEBRAND

Katie Okla Cassidy Hildebrand, 81, daughter of John Alfred Cassidy and Sarah Manes Cassidy, was born December 10, 1913 at Blooming Rose. She died May 16, 1995 at Texas County Memorial Hospital in Houston.

She married Charley James Hildebrand December 31, 1929. They had 10 children and lived in the Evening Shade Community. Mrs. Hildebrand worked for many years at the Ft. Leonard Wood laundry.

She was preceded in death in April 1994 by her husband; by four siblings in infancy, and one brother, Duard.

Surviving are her children Ethmer Hildebrand, Lillian Vaughan, Gary, Jim and Joe of Plato, Eula Wade of High Ridge, Hazel Huff of Success, Anna Marie Parks of Roby, Reba Lane of Duke and Wilma Zook of Success; two sisters Clemmie Wilbanks of Beulah and Violet Hildebrand of Edgar Springs; 29 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren.

Services were May 19 at the Roby Baptist Church with Rev. Sheldon Zook and the Rev. Bob Summers officiating. Burial was in the Palace Cemetery under the direction of Fox Funeral Home of Licking.
