SIKES — Services for Stanley Branch will be at 2 p.m. today in Sikes Baptist Church with the Rev. Kenneth Tarver officiating. Burial will be in Sikes Cemetery under direction of Southern, Winnfield.

Branch, 88, of Sikes died Thursday, Feb. 24, 1994, in his residence.

He was a deacon in Sikes Baptist Church, and he was a 32nd degree Mason and a member of Rosemary Lodge No. 278. He was a member of Barak Shrine Temple, Monroe, and he was district deputy to the grand lodge. He was a three-term mayor of Sikes and he was serving as constable of District Five. He was retired from Louisiana Highway Department with 28 years of service.

Survivors include his wife, Grace T. Branch of Sikes; two daughters, Bobbie B. Brister and Beverly B. Martin, both of Winnfield; one stepson, Thomas H. Sanders Jr. of Walker; two stepdaughters, Dianne Meyers of Denham Springs and Linda Broussard of Dodson; three sisters, Marie B. Tarver of Jena, Frances B. Haigler of Colfax and Georgia B. Thomas of Long Beach, Miss.; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. today in the funeral home.
