Former Shawnee resident Jean M. Alexander, 50 year California resident passed away, Saturday, Oct. 25, 2008, at the age of 72.
She was born Oct. 19, 1936, in Shawnee to Julius W. Horbach and Imogene DeGraff.
She was a graduate of St. Benedict Catholic School in Shawnee. She was married to Frederick T. Alexander for 48 years. She was a member of the Citizen Pottawatomie Nation. She worked as office manager for Matz Rubber Company for 25 years before she retired.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Judith H. O'Connor; and her brothers, Jerome L. Horbach and William R. Horbach.
Survivors include her daughters, Melissa S. Alexander of Pacifica, Calif., Christina R. Ferris of Hampton, Va.; brother, Theodore Horbach of Apple Valley, Calif.; and two grandchildren, She will be greatly missed by her friends and family.
Service was Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2008, at Joshua Tree Memorial Park
