Doug E. Manley, 47, of Sanders, Ky., died Saturday, Dec. 13, 2008, at his residence.

He was born July 4, 1961, in Owen County, Ky., the son of Eugene and Sylvia Manley. He attended Carroll County Schools. He was employed as a laborer with Becon in Trimble County, Ky. He was a member of Sanders Baptist Church and enjoyed hunting.

He is survived by his wife, Connie Lewis Manley; three children, Terra Scruggs, Cassie James and Ethan Manley, all of Carrollton, Ky.; his mother, of Carrollton, Ky.; his father and stepmother, Eugene and Carolyn Manley of Sanders, Ky.; and one sister, Denise Abercrombie of Sanders, Ky.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Debbie Tolbert; and one niece.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Family Worship Center in Carrollton, Ky. Burial will be in Owenton Cemetery.

Friends may call Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Graham-Dunn Funeral Home in Carrollton, Ky.
