Served his country in the United States Army during which time he received his High School diploma. Clarence was a machinist by trade and retired from Jensen International.
Preceded in death by his parents Thomas and Rachael Blevins; sister Cleo Blankenship; and brothers Raymond, Alfred and Henry Blevins.
He is survived by his wife; sons and their wives; brothers; six grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services will be Thursday, September 11, 2008, at 2:00 P.M. in the 38th Street Church of Christ. Burial will follow at Woodland Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 9, 2008, and Wednesday, September 10, 2008, from 8:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M.
