Age 70, died at 11:20 a.m. Sunday following a lingering illness. She was born August 5, 1911, in Menasha, and lived in this area all of her life. She was a member of St. Bernadette Catholic Church. Surviviors include her husband, Ed, with whom she celebrated their 48th Wedding Anniversary., July 21, 1981; two sons and daughters-in-law: Richard and Jacqueline, and Ronald and Carla, all of Appleton; five sisters: Mrs. Arthur (Lucille) Jape, and Mrs. Ralph (Adella) Schneider, both of Menasha; Mrs. Thomas (Emily) Russell, Mrs. Harold (Rose) Frieders, Mrs. Harold (Marion) Garrigan, all of Appleton; 13 grandchildren. The complete funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, with Father Harry G. Hafeman officiating. Entombment will be in the Star of Hope Mausoleum. Friends may call at the Wichmann Funeral Home from 4 until 9 p.m. Tuesday and after 8 a.m. Wednesday until the cortege leaves for the church. The prayer and scripture service will be at 7:30 Tuesday evening. A memorial fund has been established for the Appleton Area Hospice Program.
