Winfred 'Wyn' H. Wisley, 85, born Nov. 1, 1922 in Smithville, IN died Monday at his home in Vallejo after a long illness.

Mr. Wisley retired from the United States Air Force after 22 years of service. He was a veteran of W.W.II, Korean Conflict, Vietnam and Invasion of Normandy. He enjoyed his walks on the waterfront every day and playing craps. He was very involved in his grandchildren's life and was a devoted father to his children.

He was know by his grandchildren and all of the other children as 'Papa.' He was a member of Nave Patrola Drill Team in Novato.

Survivors include his daughter, Sandra (Scott) Joubert of Vallejo; sons, Greg and Gary Wisley of Oregon; and grandchildren, Samantha and Michael Joubert, both of Vallejo, and Tammy Hoherz of North Dakota.

Committal services with military honors will be held at 9:30 a.m. Friday at the Sacramento Valley VA National Cemetery in Dixon.

Care entrusted to Struble Family Funeral Services, Vallejo.
