James H. Nunnally Rites Conducted

Services for James H. Nunnally, 69, of the Shipman community, were held at 3 p.m. Sunday at George County Funeral Home chapel. Rev. C.O. Miller of Shipman Methodist Church officiated, assisted by Rev. M.L. Hill of Biloxi. Burial followed in Magnolia Cemetery

Nunnally died last Friday night in a Mobile hospital following a lengthy illness.
A native of Atlanta, Ga., he had resided in George County for 12 years. He was a retired barber, and a veteran of World War I.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Phillia Nunnally, Shipman; a step-daughter, Mrs. Sybil Gillette, Mobile, and two sisters, Mrs. G.P. Myers and Mrs. Isabelle Whaley of Atlanta.

Pallbearers were Winfred Moffett, Burton Moffett, Clyde Killcreas, Vivian West, George Young and George Howell. Honorary Pallbearers were Guy D. Moffett, Earl Cox, Pat Hire, Charlie Hernn, David Hayard, Bruce Gordon, D.L. W. Woods and Jerry Crow.
