Ruth Pabst, age 76, died at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center Friday, December 5, 2008. Ruth was born November 25, 1932, at Moore, Idaho a daughter to Cecil Glenn King and Mary Ellen Hayes King. She attended Moore and Rigby, Idaho schools. She married William Alvin Pabst, June 9, 1950 in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. She worked as an electrical assembly instructor for Salt Lake Community College Skill Center for 20 years. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served as Relief Society President in the Kearns 11th Ward and Kearns Utah North Stake, as primary chorister, as a genealogy name extraction specialist and enjoyed teaching. She enjoyed sewing and crocheting for the LDS Humanitarian program. She is survived by four daughters: Vickie Lynn (Brent) Woodall of Cedar City, Utah, Teresa (Darell) Allred of West Valley City, Utah, Kim Schulz of Roosevelt, Utah and Tracie (Clint) Johnson of Herriman, Utah, one son Wendell (Julie) Pabst of Parma, Idaho, four sisters: Lamona Helphenstine of Meridian, Idaho, Maurine (Robert) Olsen of Bennion, Utah, Mary (Robert) Bolinder of Firth, Idaho, and Ann (Stephen) Thornton of Grant, Idaho, and one brother Cecil (Alice) King of Taylorsville, Utah, 45 grandchildren and 51 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband William, one sister Alice Mae Grover and four grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, December 13, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. in the Rigby 14th Ward LDS Chapel 401 west 1st South, with Bishop Dave Grant officiating. The family will visit with friends Friday, December 12, 2008 from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby and at the church on Saturday from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. Burial will be in the Annis Little Butte Cemetery.
