Marie Cangelosi Abney passed away at her residence in Covington on Sunday, December 7, 2008 at the age of 87. Beloved wife of the late Gilderoy Lacroix Abney. Daughter of the late Sam and Sarah Cangelosi. Mother of Sam Abney, Patricia Abney Gele', Gayle Abney Keller and the late Robert W. Abney. Sister of Charles Cangelosi. Also survived by one sister-in-law, one brother-in-law, 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial Services at LAKE LAWN METAIRIE FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. (in Metairie Cemetery), on Friday, December 12, 2008 at 11:00am.
