Death of Mrs. Allender

Eliza Handy Allender was born February 24th, 1862 and departed this life Saturday morning July 20, 1907; age forty-five years, four months and twenty-six days.

She was united in marriage to Emmer Allender June 13th, 1888. She was a daughter of Wm. and Rachel Handy. To this union was born one son, William Alonzo, age 14 years. She leaves a husband, one son, four brothers and three sisters to mourn their loss, namely, Miss Rebecca Handy of Indianapolis, Mrs. Rachel Richardson of Nineveh, Mrs. Mary Allender of Indianapolis, Harvey Handy of Indianapolis, Nathan Handy his whereabouts unknown, Shelton Handy living near Trafalgar, and Wm. Handy of Forest, Okla. Two sisters preceded her to the land beyond, Mrs. Anna Hague and Mrs. Kizzie Duncan.

She was a kind and loving mother and a faithful wife. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
