Jennie Townsend, 69, a 15 years Colton resident, died July 21, 1980, in a San Bernardino hospital.
She was a member of the United Pentecostal Church of Colton.
Survivors include her two sons, Jimmie of Colton, and Carliss of Highland; three brothers, Wilson, Claude, and Shorty Bates, all of Okla.; three sisters, Ruth Wilson of San Bernardino, Laura Puckett and Bertha, all of Okla.; and six grandchildren.
Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday in the United Pentecostal Church of Colton. Friends may call at the Colton Funeral Chapel, Wednesday from noon till 8 p.m. Interment will be in Montecito Memorial Park.
