Funeral Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, December 11, 2008 at the Old Union Christian Union Church East of Lawson. Burial will be in the Old Union Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6 - 8pm Wednesday at the Polley Funeral Home, Lawson.
Bill was born on October 21, 1927 in Taney Co MO, the son of Wayne and Zena (Hobbs) Bolling.
On October 13, 1947 he married Mary Sue (Myers) Bolling. Bill served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He retired from Ford Motor Company and was also a farmer. Bill was a member of the Old Union Christian Union Church where he had served on the Church Board for many years. He was an avid hunter and was a member of the American Hunting Association and the N.R.A. He was a member of the V.F. W. Post #6278 of Lawson.
Survivors include his wife Mary Sue of the home; two sons William Edward Bolling of Lawson and Kevin Duane Bolling and wife Katie of Lawson; one brother Gilbert Bolling and wife Linda of Cowgill; one sister Joy Ursenbach of Cherry Valley CA; 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Besides his parents, Bill was preceded in death by one grandson Duane, one brother Denny, and one daughter-in-law Jeri.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be given to the Old Union Christian Union Church.
