MISS IDA M. CHUBB DIES
Artist Succumbs Suddenly This Afternoon at Home of Friend
Miss Ida M. Chubb, about 64, who made her home with her sister, Miss Ella Chubb, 1511 Hazel avenue, died suddenly at 12:40 o'clock this afternoon at the home of Mrs. Rachel McKinnon, 812 West Central avenue. Miss Chubb had been ordered to bed by her physician and the last week had been at the home of her friend, Mrs. McKinnon.
Miss Chubb, who was born in Corning, Iowa, was an artist and for a number of years was employed in the Hamlet studios in Akron, Ohio. She came here in 1929. She was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Chubb of Carthage. Her father died a number of years ago. Her mother, Mrs. Mary Chubb, passed away two years ago.
The sister, Miss Ella Chubb, is the only surviving relative.
The body was moved to the Knell mortuary. Funeral arrangements have not been made.

Services Are Conducted by Rev. Stanley Letcher
Funeral services for Miss Ida Chubb, who died Monday afternoon, were held at 10:30 this morning at the Knell service home with the Rev. Stanley Letcher, pastor of the First Christian church, in charge.
Mrs. Marian Wright Powers sang "Abide With Me" and "Crossing the Bar". The accompaniments were played by Mrs. John Carter, organist. Pallbearers were Dr. T. W. Wolf, Orin Irwin, Guy Tadlock, L. M. Stanley, W. S. Shuler and A. C. Van Hook. Burial was in Park cemetery.
