HEMINGWAY --Mrs. Anna Cribb Cockfield, 54, of near Hemingway died at her home early Thursday morning after three days illness.
Funeral services will be held at the graveside at Ebenezer Cemetery Friday at 3 p.m. The service will be conducted by the Rev. E.B. Boatwright, the Rev. Judson Baggett, and the Rev. Grady Perry.
The Morris Funeral Home will have charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Cockfield was a daughter of the late Charles B. and Nettie Mae Rogers Cribb of near Hemingway where she was reared and spent her entire life.
Pallbearers will be Aaron Joy, E.S. Thompson, J.T. Owens, Kinley Miller, Lewis Pope, and P.O. Owens.
She is survived by her husband, Tristam Cockfield; five sons, Brinkley, Ozell, Philip, Colon, and Thomas; two daughters, Eliza and Ella Cockfield, all of near Hemingway. She is survived also by one sister, Mrs. Addie Roberts of Georgetown County, two brothers Gilbert Cribb and Julius Cribb both of Hemingway and nine grandchildren.
