Frances McCoy Johnson, age 78 of Murphy, NC died Friday, February 1, 2008 at the Murphy Medical Center.
She was a native of Cherokee County, NC. but had lived in Cherokee County GA. before moving to Murphy, NC. twenty years ago.
Mary Frances was a homemaker, enjoyed traveling and loved to go to her church, Calvary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Grady and Dora Hughes McCoy; husband, Merrill Johnson who died in 1987; a daughter, Lynn Johnson Hunt who died in 2002; and two brothers, Richard and Bill McCoy.
Interment will be held at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens
