Mr. Fletcher retired from Aero Corp after 21 years, the U.S. Air Force after 21 years as Master Sergeant and was an EX-POW. While serving in the Army he received the Purple Heart, Air Medal, Korean Service Medal and a POW medal.
He is survived by his two sons; John T. Fletcher, Alachua, FL, David A. Fletcher, Ocala, FL; two daughters; Cheri Grimes, Lexington, NC and Sandy Menendez, Lake City, FL. He is preceded in death by his wife of 51 years Irene B. Fletcher and daughter Patty Jo Shinholster.
Family and friends will get together at the home of John D. in Branford on Wednesday, May 20, 2009 from 1:00-4:00 pm.
