Married Emma P. Edwards in 1915.

Father of 4 children: Robert, Russell S., Louise and Kenneth LeRoy.

Stanley was the sexton at Woodard Lake Cemetery.

Triple funeral services were conducted Wednesday afternoon at the Boynton funeral home for Stanley Gilmore of Woodard lake and his wife Emma, and grandson, Dennis, whom he killed early Monday morning in a tragic shotgun slaying and suicide.

The Rev. H.S. Ellis, Belding retired minister, officiated at the services which were attended only by the close relatives.

Bearers were Lloyd Jones, Herman Barlow, Peter Pelon, Philip Wilson, Gerald Smith and Robert McPherson.

Interment for Gilmore and his wife was in Woodard lake cemetery where he had been sexton.

Committal services for the six-year-old grandson, Dennis Gilmore, were held at the cemetery at 11 a.m. Thursday. His services were postponed pending the arrival of his mother, Mrs. Arthur Piggott, of Las Vegas, Nev., who arrived in Ionia Wednesday night.
