Samuel S. Armsworth died Saturday, April 7, 1928 after an illness of several months. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon with interment in Monticello cemetery.
He was born near Cisco on Mar 13, 1861 the s/o James and Emma Armsworth. He lived on a farm until his marriage in 1906 to Joyce Adkins and made Monticello their home ever since. He leaves his widow, two sons: Sam Jr. and James; and one daughter, Mrs. Bess Raycraft, all of Monticello.
He was a member of the Methodist Church; a kind and loving father and husband, a good neighbor and friend and will be greatly missed in the home circle and by a host of friends.
