Friends may call at the Church one hour prior to the service. Mrs. Walker was born December 23, 1929 in Conover, North Carolina, the daughter of Perry Eckard and Lola Hedrick Eckard. She was a member of Harborview Presbyterian Church. She is survived by one daughter: Brenda W. Parker and her husband Jay of James Island, SC; two grandchildren: Elizabeth Anne Parker and Laura Catherine Parker; and one sister, Mildred of Conover, NC.
