Mary Ocie Hall was the fifth child of Robert Tooms Hall and Sarah Doliska Mills. Her mother died when she was two years old and her father remarried Eliza Morton. She married Verner Willbanks on October 19, 1902. The family owned a farm in North Chattooga County and sold the farm and moved to Chattanooga, TN in 1927.

They had eight children: Robert Myers, Carmie May, Grace Vinola, Effie Floy, Anne Margaree, Verner Elliott, Mary Frances, and DORIS LEE.

Verner and Mary Ocie are both buried in Hall Cemetery.

She was my grandmother.
