Services for Ulysses S. Fout of Springfield will be at the Ellinger and Kunz Funeral Home and burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
Mr. Fout, 84, died Thursday at St. John's Hospital, where he had been a patient for five days.
A saw mill operator, Mr. Fout was the son of William and Rebecca Fout and had been a resident of Springfield 45 years.
Surviving are his widow, Wilhelmina; one son, John of Dunkirk, Ohio; one daughter, Mrs. Sue Hiller of Lyons, Ohio; four grandchildren; one stepson, Frederick Gerger of Springfield; two step-daughters, Mrs. Don Heaton of Springfield and Mrs. Albert Hubbard of Seattle, Wash.
