Andrew A. Adamsen, son of Mary Markusen and the late Hans A. Adamsen, was born December 29, 1899, at Correctionville and passed away Friday, December 24, 1954, at the home of his mother after a lingering illness.
He had resided in this community nearly all of his life, a veteran of World War I and attended Iowa State College at Ames.
Survivors include the mother and six children, Alan, Andrea, Arlen, Aaron, Austin and Arnold, and two daughters by a former marriage, Rochelle and Roberta, now living in California.
Funeral services were held Monday, December 27, 1954, at the Wilson-Hull Funeral Home with Rev. Anderson officiating at the 2 o'clock services.
Interment was in the Correctionville Cemetery.
