Funeral services for Franklin Pearson Simmons, 46, Athens, who died Saturday at a local hospital, will be at 2 p.m. today at the First Methodist Church, with burial in the Athens City Cemetery, McConnell Funeral Home directing.
Survivors include a daughter, Miss Laura Gay Simmons, Athens; two sons, Franklin Pearson Simmons Jr. and John Edward Simmons, both of Athens; his mother, Mrs. Mary Emma Peck, Athens; two half-brothers, Tom Simmons, Roseborough, N.C., and Don Peck, Huntsville; a half-sister, Mrs. Isabelle Simmons Hodges.
