Mrs. Lona Hudson, age 65, former resident of Gibson City, died Saturday at the Pekin Public Hospital where she had been taken Tuesday after being ill for several months.

Services were held Tuesday at the Gibson City Christian Church with the Rev. R. M. Luedde, pastor, officiating; burial was in Gibson City Cemetery.

She was born 3-19-1876, at Bloomington, daughter of John W. and Elizabeth (Gardner) Crew. She was married to Joseph B. Hudson in 1907 at Bloomington. For 23 years they lived in Gibson City; he died in 1929.

Survivors are three sons, Paul, Gibson City, Joseph, Pekin; and Charles, of Morton; three sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Isom, Barrington; Mrs. Mittie Waite, Rochelle; Mrs. Anna Johnston, Moline; three brothers, Dennis Crew, Bloomington; Edward, Varna; and Fred, San Francisco, California; and four grandchildren.

One son, Walter, two brothers and a sister preceded her in death. She was a member of the Gibson City Christian Church.
