Nancy Ellen Easterday was born July 25, 1828 and died May 10, 1894, aged 65 years, 9 months and 15 days. She was a daughter of Jeremiah Smith, who was born in Connecticut and emigrated to Delaware County, Ohio about 1823. He soon after moved to what is now Morrow County, where the deceased was raised. She married George Easterday September 28, 1851 and moved to Noble County in August 1852 and settled on a farm near Albion. They moved to the present home in Green Twp in March 1862.
To their union were born 5 sons and 3 daughters. The 2 oldest daughters preceded her in death. She was a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church at Albion. Funeral was at the home on Sunday. Burial, Albion C
