10 Apr 1958: Harry P. Bender, 53, husband of Pearline Royer Bender, of Lebanon Route One, died yesterday afternoon at his home of a heart attack. He was a watchman at the No-Mend Division of the Berkshire Knitting Mills, Lebanon, and worshipped in the Reformed faith. Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons, Earl, Fredericksburg and Harold, Lebanon. Five grandchildren, one brother, Roy and a sister, Mrs. Gladys Horst, both of Manheim, also survive. He was a son of the late Oliver and Sadie Miller Bender. [Lebanon Daily News]
